World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
The upgrade feature for items allows players to increase the item level for equippable weapons or armor. This improves the power of the gear, as well as sometimes adding buffs or rolling an affix again.
It is important to remember that while you can upgrade magic and common equipment, it is generally not worth the cost. Unique and rare equipment will quickly surpass upgraded magic and common equipment.
Cost
The player must pay gold to upgrade an item. The cost of upgrading an item depends on its current level as well as the type of upgrade selected. Upgrades to weapons are usually less expensive than upgrades to armor, since weapons have lower requirements. The amount of Gold required to upgrade an item increases when the item is upgraded to the next level.
A newly upgraded item will also have improved stats, which can boost its performance in many ways. This includes increasing the power of its attack, critical strike chance, or damage per second. In item upgrades upgraded item might be able to offer additional buffs for its equipped unit. These upgrades are able to boost the overall strength of a group or a single unit, and could be a major influence on the gameplay.
Items can be upgraded by any NPC that is an upgrader in the game. These NPCs can be found in the major questing areas or capital cities. You can also find upgrades for items in dungeons that feature high-level bosses. You can also talk to NPCs in garrisons of your faction.
The system of upgrading items in World of Warcraft provides players with the possibility of upgrading the levels of armor, weapons, and trinkets. The process is similar to that of gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor, but instead of using the currency that is appropriate players must visit an NPC for upgrading items to complete the process.
Item upgrades can be costly, particularly when it comes to weapons and armor. Based on the upgrade path you choose, each item level increase will cost Crests or Valorstones. The costs can be prohibitive for those who do not have the funds or are unwilling to grind.
Fortunately the game allows players to roll an upgraded item using an additional tool available in the items menu. This option allows you to exchange the upgraded item with a level 1 version with a different set of bonus effects. This can be useful to get better rolls on items that have been upgraded, but it can also be a waste of time and resources.
Requirements
The process of upgrading equippable items such as weapons, armor and trinkets is to raise the item level. This boosts their effectiveness and makes them more effective in battle. Players can upgrade their gear by spending the appropriate currency at an item upgrader. Players should be aware of the fact that some upgrades require special requirements.
Early upgrades only increase the stats of the base item by one level. Later upgrades give significant boosts. For instance, upgrading a weapon from three to level six will increase the weapon's damage by an additional two levels. A bonus stat will also be added to the upgraded item based on the level. The bonus consists of a guaranteed substat as well as an undetermined stat, which will vary from upgrade to upgrade.
A player can reroll an upgraded item by using a Reroll Token to exchange the upgrade for a new one. The new item comes with a different set extra bonuses, as well as a lower level for the item. The rerolled item will also have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to note that the item rerolled does not have its original level or any wasted resource.
Rerolling upgraded items is only possible if the item was upgraded was an Epic Rare, Rare, or Unique. Additionally, exceptional items can be rerolled, however the original stats are replaced by an uncapped bonus. This means that rerolling a Rare item will result in a Normal version of the same type, whereas the rerolling of an Epic item will result in an elite version of the same kind.
A newly upgraded item could come with additional modifiers, which could further boost its stats and boost its performance. These additional modifiers aren't included in the upgrade price. You can purchase them at the Trading Post, or through other players. Additionally, they can be earned by completing certain tasks in the game.
To upgrade an item of equipment, you must visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Depending on the type of item, you'll need one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is droppable from monsters 21+ and Giants while Dice 12 can be obtained from Bosses). You will also require various amounts of Minerals and Erons.
Time

Upgrades to items are a method to boost your ship's stats and gear without needing to upgrade them. Upgrades aren't cheap but they are a good way to increase your stats and not have to spend a lot of time fighting. It's crucial to know the costs and benefits before investing your money or time.
Each upgrade boosts the item's base stat in a specific amount, and gives a chance to get an additional substat. The random substat could vary from a modest boost to a much larger boost. Focus on the items that are best in slots first. They will provide a greater return for your investment.
You can see the time required to complete an upgrade when you open your inventory and choose a weapon, ship or accessory. The upgrade window will show the expected completion time and progress. In certain situations, you might be able to speed up the upgrade process by applying a Glyph.
It is also possible to retrieve certain or all of the upgrade components from an item by using a special high-tier salvage kit sold by Black Lion Salvage and Ascended Salvage. However, this doesn't include legendary equipment or upgrades, which can only be recovered by using an Upgrade Extractor, or by recovering them through the appropriate Karma Merchant.
Enjoy the Benefits
The upgrading of items provides players with currency and a variety of items. Every upgrade has a chance to grant a random stat bonus. The amount of bonus value is different for each upgrade, and is usually higher for rare items. Players can conduct the Great Vault search to see whether an item can be upgraded prior to spending tickets. The search will help determine whether the item is in a certain tier and whether the player will benefit from upgrading to a specific upgrade.
During the upgrade process an item will gradually advance to its next level but won't always reach a full upgrade bar. The process will consume Growthstones and Sollant however there is a ten percent chance to obtain an upgraded item in just one cycle of growth. The higher the level an item is upgraded to, the higher its stat boost and the more items it is able to upgrade to.
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, armor, and weapons to earn an attribute bonus or to create a unique effect while the equipment is being worn. Certain upgrade components come with cosmetic effects. Upgrade components are available through crafting, purchasing from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving as a gift. Players can also retrieve upgraded items by using an Upgrade extractor or salvaging with a high tier salvage kit. Glyphs, which are stored in tools for gathering can be swapped out without restrictions.
A player can turn an item into a different upgradeable item by selecting it and pressing the green button a reroll arrow. This alters the layout of the item's window, and allow players to select up to six items to "recycle". The item that is recycled will be exchanged with a level 1 item similar to it. Recycled items won't keep their level, nor the resources used to upgrade them.
An item's maximum upgrade level is determined by its tier and quality. Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels of nine, while common items can only be upgraded to level six. The upgrades to items are added to the base statistics of the item. This means that they won't increase in the future after a certain level.
